Layered Cake Workshop

We are adding in one more Layered Cake Workshop this Fall and are changing things up a bit! This time around we are adding on how to create that beautiful ganache drip cake. Not only will you learn how to cut, fill and stack cake layers to get a beautiful even cake, you will also learn how to crumb coat and frost the cake with different textures and how to create that beautiful dark chocolate ganache drip. There will be a demonstration of how to make Johanna's most favorite buttercream, easily adapted to different flavors as well as how to make dark chocolate ganache with the perfect consistency needed for a drip cake. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with the knowledge and skills to create your own cake creation at home for your next event! You will also leave with your beautiful creation, several decorating tips and tricks as well as Johanna's recipes for the cake, buttercream and ganache used in the workshop.
We would love to have you join us as we dive into learning all about Cake and Buttercream. Whether you bake all the time or rarely ever, all levels of skill are welcome. Grab your mom, sister or bestie and join us for a creative and fun class!
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to Intermediate. You do not need any prior experience in cake decorating. We have purposely limited the number os tickets so there will be plenty of hands on time to create. The workshop is perfect for your first time dabbling in buttercream or for bakers who want to take their cake skills to the next level.

FOOD & DRINK: Water and light refreshments from DSC will be served throughout the workshop.
PRICE: CAKE WORKSHOP: $105 + tax
TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT: Send us an email with “Cake Workshop” in the subject line. Indicate number of tickets you’d like to purchase. We will then send you an invoice and once payment is recieved, your seat will be reserved.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: All tools and materials needed will be provided and will remain property of DSC. Boxes for taking your creation home will be provided. Students must be at least 13 years of age. Please wear comfortable shoes and be able to tie your hair back. Tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another student if you are unable to attend.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Delicately Sweet Confections reserves the right to cancel or change workshops. In the rare event of a cancellation, DSC will provide students with enough notice as possible and provide a full refund.
